Week 1 Procedural Vase


This vase was created using a simple procedural workflow in Houdini. A 2D profile curve is revolved to generate the base shape, followed by subdivision for smoothness and additional node operations for refinement.
The entire model is non-destructive—any changes to the original curve instantly update the final geometry, making it flexible for quick design iterations.
Week 2 Vase Destruction
The procedural vase was fractured using RBD Fracture and simulated with Bullet physics. The geometry was pre-broken into realistic pieces, allowing controlled shattering and dynamic interaction during impact.
This approach provides precise control over fracture patterns and simulation behavior while maintaining a fully procedural workflow.
Week 3 Wall Destruction

This setup shows a simple wall destruction using RBD. The wall is broken into pieces and then driven by a moving object, causing it to crack and fall apart in a more believable way.Since everything is procedural, it’s easy to tweak how the wall breaks, how strong the impact feels, and how the pieces react.
