Mountain Roto
This shot uses rotoscoping to split the mountains into different layers instead of keeping them as one background. By separating the scene into foreground, midground, and background, balloons can be placed in between these layers to create a sense of depth. This makes the balloons look like they are naturally inside the environment rather than just placed on top, resulting in a more realistic and immersive scene.

This playblast showcases the balloon festival animation, featuring balloon designs inspired by UFO, Simpsons, Minions, and Olaf, all modeled in Blender.

The elements were positioned and aligned to fit naturally within the scene, with attention to depth so they integrate well with the environment. This process brings all components together into a more complete and visually engaging composition.
